September 17 – October 11 | ArtsWest

The Chinese Lady by Lloyd Suh

A co-production with ArtsWest
Directed by Zenaida Rose Smith & Christie Zhao

Brought to the U.S. in 1834, Afong Moy — allegedly the first Chinese woman on American soil — is put on display as "The Chinese Lady." Inspired by this true story, The Chinese Lady is a dark, poetic portrait of America through her eyes.
