Christie Zhao

YUELAN (they/them)

A theatre director and interdisciplinary artist originally from Wuhu, Anhui. Christie's directing style is heavily influenced by feminist theater, Bertolt Brecht and epic theater, devised theater, as well as documentary theater, and she has a keen interest in ensemble work.

A queer Chinese-American musician and artist currently based in Seattle. They have composed music for Christie's productions of The Good Person and Monologues of n Women, and currently work with Yun Theatre as their resident composer as well. A queer Chinese-American musician and artist currently based in Seattle. They have composed music for Christie's productions of The Good Person and Monologues of n Women, and currently work with Yun Theatre as their resident composer as well. Additionally, they have released music with the UW Songwriter's Circle - a song titled Meteors, which can be found on all streaming platforms with the Songwriter Circle's first album, Escapisms. An artist and visual thinker from China. She received her MFA in costume design at the University of California, Davis. Her designs have been seen in the San Francisco Bay area as well as Los Angeles, Sacramento, Denver, Beijing, Guangzhou and online streams. Her recent work includes Antigone NOW, Peter and the Starcatcher, Ranked-A New M

Graduated from Penn State University (go Nittany lions!) and currently works in accounting advisory. She has a strong interest in theatre and hopes to explore different possibilities through production and performance.

An idealist living in Seattle with her orange cat, Puff. Her comfort food is noodles. A lover of art and live performance, she can often be found in theaters and performance venues. She prioritizes her mental health above all.

Tina Deng is originally from Guangzhou, China and graduated from Duke University. She has a passion for theater, music, coffee, and traveling. She is currently a Senior Analytics Engineer in a SaaS company.

Born and raised in a small town besides the Yangtze River, graduated from New York University. He enjoys watching films, theatre plays and live music, spends endless time on reading useless books, and never stops exploring the world.

Elodie is originally from Harbin, China. She graduated from Carnegie Mellon University and currently is a Software Engineer in a tech company. She enjoys photography, films, theatre plays and is fascinated by  different cultures around the world. Elodie also has a strong interest in social justice matters and is dedicated to advocating for critical social issues.

From a young age, social justice has been at the forefront of Jiamin's consciousness. She enjoys exploring various artistic mediums - from literature, theater, and fine arts - to promote social justice. She believes theater can elevate the voices of marginalized communities and challenge the status quo. She is driven by a desire to make our community better.

Before coming to Seattle, she was a growth hacker in tech business. She has two degrees in English Literature and enjoys almost all kinds of arts, especially theater play. Her little sister is a corgi (her mom’s favorite).

闰土 embarked on his theatrical journey in 2012 in Singapore, where he has since established himself as a versatile theatre practitioner. Over the years, he has taken on various pivotal roles, including director, actor, and stage and light designer. Apart from theatre, he works in the tech industry with a focus on breaking systems and writi

闰土 embarked on his theatrical journey in 2012 in Singapore, where he has since established himself as a versatile theatre practitioner. Over the years, he has taken on various pivotal roles, including director, actor, and stage and light designer. Apart from theatre, he works in the tech industry with a focus on breaking systems and writing bugs. In leisure time, he goes to movies and goes to places. He used to live in Chongqing, Singapore, Oslo, Pittsburgh; and he is now in the Seattle area.

Eddy Xin (Any pronoun)

Jiuxi (Eddy) is a linguistics nerd who found a new language through theatre after graduating from college. They love thriller movies, sad romance stories, and cats. Born in China, but mostly a Seattlite. No raincoats or umbrellas, please.
